Costa Rica has become an important destination for bird watchers over the years. On our bird watching tour, you will be able to easily spot more than 50 bird species. However, if you are an experienced birder, you will see around 100 bird species including resident and migratory, terrestrial and coastal ones such as the Clay Colored Robin (Costa Rica’s National Bird), the Scarlet Macaw , the Guaco, the Pavón, Boat Billed Heron, the Tucancillo, the Gartered Trogon and hummingbirds.
